What is an Event Stylist?

An Event Stylist is a person or team who works with you to design, set-up and pack down the styling for your celebration.

There is no standard job outline for an Event Stylist, but here are some of the important things that most can and will do:

  • Meet with you to discuss your ideas and vision of your event.

  • Work with you to create a personal style for your event-Full Styling, Dessert Tables, Ceremony Set Up, Reception, Bar Service etc.

  • Hire Styling items from their own inventory or from other suppliers within the industry.

  • Source specific items for you upon request.

  • On the day management to ensure everything runs smoothly.

  • Set up and pack down of styling from your event.


It’s a little tricky to know the difference between an Event Stylist and Planner. A stylist has a wide range of services, so it’s best to discuss everything with the professionals, know the full scope of their brand, and what they can offer you.
